Light struck metal. Surface alive with touch.
Sierra is Sherle Wagner’s newest collection, hand-hammered, artisan, elemental.
Origin of the Texture
The Sierra collection was inspired by the American West, where sunlight breaks across stone ridges and metalwork is forged with the mark of the hand. Every tap of the hammer is preserved in the surface, a celebration of craft over polish, presence over perfection.
This hammered texture is more than ornament. It’s tactility. A faucet that feels alive in the hand, as much sculpture as utility. Equally at home in an Aspen mountain retreat or a storied Big Sky ranch, Sierra feels as though it has always belonged.
Social Proof
Launched in 2025, Sierra has already won a LUXE RED Product Award, praised for its crafted surfaces and adaptability, able to swing rustic or modern with equal grace.
It embodies what Architectural Digest called the bathroom’s new direction: “texture, tactility, and statement hardware as the centerpieces of design.”
Sierra isn’t flat. It’s dimensional. It catches light. It carries shadow. It feels like touch itself has been cast in metal.

Finish Comparisons
Burnished Brass
Warm, glowing, elemental. Feels ancient, as though pulled from a desert ruin. Perfect with clay plaster or travertine.
Satin Nickel
Cooler, subtler, silvery. A quiet shimmer that pairs with zellige or tadelakt, giving texture without weight.
Both celebrate the hammer’s mark. One glows, the other whispers.
Material Pairings
- Plaster or Limewash: Soft walls to offset the metal’s ripple.
- Tadelakt: Moroccan plaster with a silky sheen, the hand against hand-made.
- Zellige Tile: Each irregular, each alive with imperfection. Together with Sierra, the room becomes a crafted mosaic.
Aging & Patina Care
Hammered metals don’t fear time, they embrace it. Over years, brass deepens, nickel softens, bronze darkens. That patina is part of the story, a reminder that craft is meant to live, not stay still.
Polish if you must. But better to let it age gracefully, like stone weathered by sun and water.
The Connoisseur’s Note
Sierra is texture turned to luxury. The hammer mark, once rustic, becomes refinement. In a world chasing tactility, Sierra is proof that the hand’s impression is timeless.
